Zhunshuo Railway is scheduled to be completed by the end of December

According to Zhungeer Banner Government Website, Zhunshuo Railway has completed 70% of the total investment at present, and the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of December.
 
The Zhungeer-Shuozhou Railway is located among Shuozhou City and Xinzhou City of Shanxi Province, and Zhungeer Banner of Erdos City of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
 
The construction of the Zhunshuo Railway will directly extend the Daqin Line to the hinterland of the western coal fields of Inner Mongolia with solid strength, which will provide a stable coal supply of 30 million tons and 60 million tons for Daqin Line. This will greatly satisfy the capacity demand of the Daqin Railway after the expansion and transformation, effectively solving the tension situation of coal transportation capacity of Zhungeer and Dongsheng and the inconsistent transportation capacity of Beitongpu Railway, and make the railway network structure of China's main coal producing areas—Shanxi, Shaanxi, western Inner Mongolia and other regions more perfect. In addition, this will also prepare for the strategic shift of the prospective coal base.
