The national output of raw coal in China increased by 9.6% in March

The latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics shows that in March 2025, the national output of raw coal was 440.58 million tons, up 9.6% year-on-year.
In March, the average daily output was 14.21 million tons, an increase of 1.24 million tons compared with 12.97 million tons in January-February and 1.33 million tons compared with 12.88 million tons in the same period last year.
From January to March 2025, the national cumulative output of raw coal reached 1,202.6 million tons, increasing by 8.1% year-on-year. The growth rate expanded by 1.5 percentage points compared with the previous two months.
