China's raw coal output rose 4.2% in December from a year earlier

The latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics show that in December 2024, China's raw coal production was 438.85 million tons, with an increase of 4.2% year-on-year. And the month-on-month increase was 10.87 million tons, up 2.54%.
 
In December, the average daily output was 14.156 million tons, down 110,000 tons from 14.266 million tons in November and an increase of 796,000 tons from 13.36 million tons in the same period last year.
 
From January to December 2024, the cumulative raw coal production in the country was 4758.96 million tons, which continued the continuous positive growth of the previous three months, with an increase of 1.3%.
