China's power production is growing steadily, according to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics. In October, the planned industrial power generation was 731 billion KWH, up 2.1% year on year. The average daily industrial generation is 23.58 billion KWH. From January to October, the planned industrial power generation was 7,802.7 billion KWH, up 5.2% year on year.
Specifically, in October, the absolute thermal power generation of the country was 477.1 billion KWH, an increase of 1.8% year-on-year; Hydropower capacity was 104.9 billion KWH, down 14.9 percent year on year. 36.7 billion KWH of nuclear power generation, up 2.2% year-on-year; Wind power capacity was 80 billion KWH, up 34.0% year on year; Solar power generation was 32.3 billion KWH, up 12.6 percent year on year.
From January to October, the planned industrial power generation was 7,802.7 billion KWH, up 5.2% year on year.
