The latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics show that in October 2024, the country's raw coal production was 411.8 million tons, an increase of 4.6 percent year-on-year, 0.2 percentage points higher than the previous month. A month-on-month decrease was 2.66 million tons, down 0.64%.
In October, the average daily output was 13.284 million tons, down 531,000 tons from 13.815 million tons in September and an increase of 744,000 tons from 12.54 million tons in the same period last year.
From January to October 2024, the country's cumulative raw coal production was 3892.07 million tons, continued the positive growth of the previous 9 months, an increase of 1.2%, and the increase of 0.6 percentage points compared with the previous 9 months.
