China's power production has accelerated slightly, according to new data released by the National Bureau of Statistics. In September, the planned industrial power generation was 802.4 billion KWH, up 6.0% year on year and 0.2 percentage points higher than that in August. The average daily industrial generation was 26.75 billion KWH. From January to September, the planned industrial power generation was 7,056 billion KWH, up 5.4% year on year.
Specifically, in September, the absolute thermal power generation of the country was 545.1 billion KWH, an increase of 8.9%. Hydropower capacity was 119.9 billion KWH, down 14.6 percent year on year; Nuclear power capacity was 35.5 billion KWH, up 2.8% year-on-year; Wind power generation was 69.4 billion KWH, up 31.6% year on year; Solar power generation was 32.3 billion KWH, up 12.7 percent year on year.
From January to September, the planned industrial power generation was 7,056 billion KWH, up 5.4% year on year.
From January to September, the absolute power generation of thermal power was 4,743.9 billion KWH, an increase of 1.9% year-on-year; Hydropower generation reached 1,004 billion KWH, up 16.0% year on year; Nuclear power was 327.5 billion KWH, up 1.5% year-on-year. Wind power capacity was 673.3 billion KWH, up 10.8% year on year; Solar power generation was 307.3 billion KWH, up 27.0% year on year.
