Raw coal production in China in September increased by 4.4% Y-o-Y

The latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics show that in September 2024, China's raw coal production was 414.46 million tons, an increase of 4.4% year-on-year, and an increase of 4.52 percentage points over the previous month.

In September, the average daily output was 13.815 million tons, an increase of 1.023 million tons from 12.795 million tons in August and an increase of 715,000 tons from 13.1 million tons in the same period last year.

From January to September 2024, the country's cumulative raw coal production was 3475.77 million tons, the first increase since the beginning of this year, with an increase of 0.6%.
