In July, the whole society consumed 939.6 billion KWH of electricity, up 5.7% year on year. In terms of industrial electricity consumption, the primary industry consumed 14.2 billion KWH, up 1.5% year-on-year; The electricity consumption of the secondary industry was 565.6 billion KWH, up 5.0% year-on-year; Electricity consumption in the tertiary industry was 187.1 billion KWH, up 7.8% year on year; Domestic electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 172.7 billion KWH, up 5.9 percent year on year.
From January to July, the total electricity consumption of the whole society reached 5,597.1 billion KWH, an increase of 7.7% year-on-year, of which 5,323.9 billion KWH was generated by industrial power above designated scale. In terms of electricity consumption by industry, the primary industry consumed 76.4 billion KWH, up 7.5% year on year; Electricity consumption in the secondary industry was 3,632.9 billion KWH, up 6.6% year on year; Electricity consumption in the tertiary industry was 1,039.6 billion KWH, up 11.0% year on year; Domestic electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 848.2 billion KWH, up 8.4 percent year on year.
