China's raw coal output increased by 2.8% year-on-year in July

The latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics show that in July 2024, the country's raw coal production was 390.37 million tons, an increase of 2.8%, the growth rate narrowed by 0.8 percentage points. A month-on-month decrease was 15.01 million tons, or 3.7%.
In July, the average daily output of raw coal in the country was 12.593 million tons, down 920,000 tons from 13.513 million tons in June and an increase of 413,000 tons from 12.18 million tons in the same period last year.
From January to July 2024, the country's cumulative raw coal production was 2656.93 million tons, down 0.8% year-on-year and 0.9 percentage points narrower than in the previous 6 months.
