In April, the whole society consumed 741.2 billion KWH of electricity, an increase of 7.0 percent year-on-year. In terms of industrial electricity consumption, the primary industry consumed 9.6 billion KWH, an increase of 10.5%. Electricity consumption in the secondary industry was 517.1 billion KWH, up 6.2% year on year; The tertiary industry consumed 127 billion KWH of electricity, up 10.8% year on year; The domestic electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 87.5 billion KWH, up 5.9 percent year on year.
From January to April, the total electricity consumption of the whole society was 3,077.2 billion KWH, an increase of 9.0%, of which the industrial power generation above scale was 2,932.9 billion KWH. In terms of industrial electricity consumption, the primary industry consumed 38.4 billion KWH, an increase of 10.1%. Electricity consumption in the secondary industry was 2,021.4 billion KWH, up 7.5% year on year; The tertiary industry consumed 550.5 billion KWH of electricity, up 13.5% year on year; Domestic electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 466.9 billion KWH, up 10.8 percent year on year.
