Coal production rose 1.9% in December in China

According to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, in December 2023, China's raw coal production was 414.31 million tons, an increase of 1.9% year-on-year, and the growth rate narrowed by 2.7 percentage points compared with November. Compared with November, the increase was 310,000 tons and an increase of 0.07%.
 
The average daily output in December was 13.36 million tons, down 439,000 tons from 13.799 million tons in November.
 
From January to December 2023, the country's cumulative raw coal production was 4658.38 million tons, an increase was 2.9%, and the growth rate is the same as the previous 11 months.
