Raw coal production increased by 3.8% year-on-year in October

The latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics show that in October 2023, the country's raw coal production was 388.75 million tons, an increase of 3.8% year-on-year, the growth rate increased by 3.4 percentage points compared with September. Average daily production in October was 12.54 million tons, down 560,000 tons from 12.1 million tons in September. From January to October 2023, the country's cumulative raw coal production was 3,829.22 million tons, an increase of 3.1% over the same period last year, and an increase of 0.1 percentage points over the previous 9 months.
