Specifically, in July, the absolute power generation of the country was 599.7 billion KWH, an increase of 7.2%. Hydropower capacity was 121.1 billion KWH, down 17.5 percent year on year; Wind power generation was 61.4 billion KWH, up 25% year on year; nuclear power generation was 38 billion KWH , up 2.9% year-on-year; Solar power generation was 25.9 billion KWH, up 6.4% year on year.
From January to July, China generated 5013 billion KWH of electricity, up 3.8 percent year on year.
From January to July, the absolute power generation of thermal power was 3,547.4 billion KWH, an increase of 7.5% year-on-year; Absolute hydropower generation was 571.7 billion KWH, down 21.8 percent year on year; Absolute wind power generation was 483.6 billion KWH, up 16.8% year on year. Nuclear power capacity was 249.9 billion KWH, up 5.9% year on year; Absolute solar power generation was 160.4 billion KWH, up 7.9% year on year.
