Raw coal output was 377.54 million tons in July in China, up 0.1% YoY

The latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics show that in July 2023, the country's raw coal production was 377.54 million tons, an increase of 0.1% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 2.4 percentage points narrower than in June. The average daily output in July was 12.18 million tons, down 820,000 tons from 13 million tons in June. From January to July 2023, the country's cumulative raw coal production was 2671.82 million tons, an increase of 3.6% year-on-year, and a decrease of 0.8 percentage points compared with the previous 6 months.
