The latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on July 17 show that in June 2023, the country's raw coal production was 390,09 million tons, an increase of 2.5% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 1.7 percentage points narrower than in May. The National Bureau of Statistics doesn't release average daily production, but it calculated that average daily production in June was 13 million tons, up 570,000 tons from 12.43 million tons in May.
From January to June 2023, the country's cumulative raw coal production of 2.30054 billion tons, an increase of 4.4% year-on-year, the growth rate narrowed by 0.4 percentage points compared with the previous 5 months.
