Coal production in China rose 4.3% in March and 5.5% in the first quarter

The latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed that China's raw coal output in March 2023 was 417.22 million tons, up 4.3 percent year on year and 1.5 percentage points slower than that in January-February.
 
In March, the average daily output was 13.46 million tons, up 1.02 million tons from 12.44 million tons in January-February.
 
From January to March in 2023, the country's accumulated raw coal production was 1153.03 million tons, with an increase of 5.5% year-on-year.
