Thermal coal prices in China continued to edge down in late-February: NBS

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics，thermal coal prices stopped the decline and have recovered in late-February. Detailed prices changes are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed latedle-sized, Vdaf≤8%) was 1705.8 Yuan/mt, down 83.4 Yuan/ton or 4.7% compared with last issue.
The price of common mixed coal (mixed by Shanxi pulverized coal and Shanxi lump coal, CV4500) was 856.7 Yuan/mt, up 132.4 Yuan/ton or 18.3% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi general mixed coal (CV5000) was 983.3 Yuan/mt, up 159 Yuan/ton or 19.3% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi premium mixed coal (CV5500) was 1150.0 Yuan/ mt, up 131.4 Yuan/ton or 12.9% compared with last issue.
The price of Datong mixed coal (CV5800) was 1212.3 Yuan/mt, up 138.4 Yuan/ton or 12.9% compared with last issue.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, S<1%) was 2350.0 Yuan/mt, the same with last issue.
The above data shows that in late-February, , coking coal prices were flat, thermal coal prices stopped decline and recovered, and anthracite continued to edge down.
