The country's absolute power generation in September 2022 was 683 billion KWH, down 0.4 percent year on year, compared with a 9.9 percent increase in the previous month, with an average daily power generation of 22.77 billion KWH, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
In terms of varieties, in September, the absolute thermal power generation was 483.9 billion KWH, up 6.1% year on year; Absolute hydropower capacity was 99 billion KWH, down 30% year on year; Absolute wind power generation was 47.6 billion KWH, up 25.8% year on year; Nuclear power was 32.4 billion kilowatt-hours, down 2.7 percent year on year; Absolute solar power capacity was 20.2 billion KWH, up 18.9 percent year on year.
In the first nine months of 2022, China's absolute power generation was 6,286.7 billion KWH, up 2.2 percent year on year. From January to September, the absolute thermal power generation energy was 4,369.4 billion KWH, an increase of 0.5% year on year; The hydropower capacity was 950.7 billion KWH, up 5% year on year; Wind power generation was 487.1 billion KWH, an increase of 11.2% year on year; Nuclear power output was 304.6 billion KWH, up 0.5% year on year; Solar power generated 175 billion kilowatt-hours, up 14.4 percent year on year.
