China's raw coal output rose 12.3% year-on-year in September

The country produced 386.72 million tons of raw coal in September 2022, up 12.3 percent year on year and 4.2 percentage points faster than the previous month, according to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics. A month-on-month increase was 16.28 million tons, or 4.39 percent.
In September, the average daily output was 12.89 million tons, up 940,000 tons from 11.95 million tons in August.
In the first nine months of 2022, China's cumulative raw coal output was 3,315.65 million tons, up 11.2 percent year on year and 0.2 percentage points higher than that in the previous 8 months.
