Coal prices in China continued to edge up in late-August: NBS

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics，coal prices in China continued to edge up in late-August. Detailed prices changes are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed middle-sized, Vdaf≤8%) was 1646.4 Yuan/mt, up 69.3 Yuan/ton or 4.4% compared with last issue.
The price of common mixed coal (mixed by Shanxi pulverized coal and Shanxi lump coal, CV4500) was 943.8 Yuan/mt, up 35.5 Yuan/ton or 3.9% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi general mixed coal (CV5000) was 1070 Yuan/mt, up 56.7 Yuan/ton or 5.6% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi premium mixed coal (CV5500) was 1196.3 Yuan/ mt, up 48 Yuan/ton or 4.2% compared with last issue.
The price of Datong mixed coal (CV5800) was 1281.3 Yuan/mt, up 48 Yuan/ton or 3.9% compared with last issue.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, S<1%) was 2142.9 Yuan/mt, up 60.8 Yuan/ton or 2.9% compared with last issue.
The above data shows that in late-August, anthracite, coking coal and thermal coal prices continued to edge up.
