China's raw coal output rose 16.1% year-on-year in July

The country produced 372.66 million tons of raw coal in July 2022, up 16.1 percent year on year, according to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on Aug 15. Month-on-month decrease was 6.65 million tons, or 1.75%. In July, average daily output was 12.02 million tons, down 620,000 tons from 12.64 million tons in June.

From January to July 2022, China's cumulative raw coal output reached 2,561.51 million tons, up 11.5 percent year on year and 0.5 percentage point higher than that of the previous 6 months.
