Thermal coal prices in China rose continously in mid-May: NBS

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics，most coal prices in China edged up in mid-May. Detailed prices changes are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed middle-sized, Vdaf≤8%) was 1771.4 Yuan/mt, up 89.4 Yuan/ton or 5.3% compared with last issue.
The price of common mixed coal (mixed by Shanxi pulverized coal and Shanxi lump coal, CV4500) was 963.6 Yuan/mt, up 47.6 Yuan/ton or 5.2% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi general mixed coal (CV5000) was 1089.3 Yuan/mt, up 43.3 Yuan/ton or 4.1% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi premium mixed coal (CV5500) was 1252.9 Yuan/ mt, up 50.9 Yuan/ton or 4.2% compared with last issue.
The price of Datong mixed coal (CV5800) was 1338.6 Yuan/mt, up 56.6 Yuan/ton or 4.4% compared with last issue.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, S<1%) was 2898.6 Yuan/mt, down 294.4 Yuan/ton or 9.2% compared with last issue.
The above data shows that in mid-May, anthracite and thermal coal prices rose continuously, but coking coal prices continued to edge down .
