China's raw coal output rose 14.8% in March and 10.3% in the first quarter

China's raw coal output reached 395.79 million tons in March 2021, up 14.8 percent year on year, according to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on April 18. In March, the average daily output was 12.77 million tons, up 1.13 million tons from 11.64 million tons in January-February. In the first three months of 2021, China's total raw coal output reached 1.08386 million tons, up 10.3 percent year on year, with the same growth rate as the previous two months.
 
The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said the policy of increasing coal supply and production has intensified since March, with major coal-producing provinces and regions making all-out efforts to tap potential and expand capacity to increase coal supply.
