Thermal coal prices in China edged up again in mid-January: NBS

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statisticscoal prices in China edged up mostly in mid-January. Detailed prices changes are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed middle-sized, Vdaf≤8%) was 1965.0 Yuan/mt, down 4 Yuan/ton or 0.2% compared with last issue.
The price of common mixed coal (mixed by Shanxi pulverized coal and Shanxi lump coal, CV4500) was 701.3 Yuan/mt, up 126.3 Yuan/ton or 22% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi general mixed coal (CV5000) was 833.8 Yuan/mt, up 112.8 Yuan/ton or 15.6% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi premium mixed coal (CV5500) was 938.1 Yuan/ mt, up 120.1 Yuan/ton or 14.7% compared with last issue.
The price of Datong mixed coal (CV5800) was 1009.4 Yuan/mt, up 125.4 Yuan/ton or 14.2% compared with last issue.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, S<1%) was 2658.1 Yuan/mt, up 213.1 Yuan/ton or 8.7% compared with last issue.
The above data shows that in mid-January, anthracite price continued to edge down, thermal coal prices began to edge up, and coking coal prices continued to edge up.
