Thermal coal prices in China edged down significantly in late-December: NBS

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics，coal prices in China were mixed in late-December. Detailed prices changes are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed middle-sized, Vdaf≤8%) was 1979.4 Yuan/mt, down 4.8 Yuan/ton or 0.2% compared with last issue.
The price of common mixed coal (mixed by Shanxi pulverized coal and Shanxi lump coal, CV4500) was 617.5 Yuan/mt, down 184.2 Yuan/ton or 23% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi general mixed coal (CV5000) was 788.1 Yuan/mt, down 138.6 Yuan/ton or 15% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi premium mixed coal (CV5500) was 895.0 Yuan/ mt, down 178.3 Yuan/ton or 16.6% compared with last issue.
The price of Datong mixed coal (CV5800) was 964.4 Yuan/mt, down 188.9 Yuan/ton or 16.4% compared with last issue.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, S<1%) was 2275.0 Yuan/mt, up 183.3 Yuan/ton or 8.8% compared with last issue.
The above data shows that in late-December, anthracite price continued to edge down, thermal coal prices continued to edge down significantly, and coking coal prices continued to edge up.
