Thermal coal prices in China edged down significantly in mid-December: NBS

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics，coal prices in China were mixed in mid-December. Detailed prices changes are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed middle-sized, Vdaf≤8%) was 1984.2 Yuan/mt, down 10.2 Yuan/ton or 0.5% compared with last issue.
The price of common mixed coal (mixed by Shanxi pulverized coal and Shanxi lump coal, CV4500) was 801.7 Yuan/mt, down 57.1 Yuan/ton or 6.6% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi general mixed coal (CV5000) was 926.7 Yuan/mt, down 58.3 Yuan/ton or 5.9% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi premium mixed coal (CV5500) was 1073.3 Yuan/ mt, down 86.1 Yuan/ton or 7.4% compared with last issue.
The price of Datong mixed coal (CV5800) was 1153.3 Yuan/mt, down 91.1 Yuan/ton or 7.3% compared with last issue.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, S<1%) was 2091.7 Yuan/mt, up 91.7 Yuan/ton or 4.6% compared with last issue.
The above data shows that in mid-December, anthracite price began to edge down, thermal coal prices continued to edge down, and coking coal prices began to edge up.
