China Shenhua Group’s coal production increased by 10.1% in November

The announcement of major operation data for November 2021 released by China Shenhua Group shows that the commercial coal output of China Shenhua Group in November 2021 was 27.3 million tons, up 10.1% year-on-year and up 3.02% month-on-month. Coal sales volume was 35.3 million tons, down 9.0% year-on-year but up 4.44% month-on-month.
In November 2021, the shipment volume at Shenhua Huanghua Port in China was 18.9 million tons, up 5.0% year-on-year and up 8.62% month-on-month. The shipment volume of Shenhua Tianjin Port was 4 million tons, the same with that of last year and up 14.29% month-on-month. Shipping and cargo volume was 9.3 million tons, down 12.3% year-on-year and down 4.12% month-on-month.
In addition, in November 2021, Shenhua’s power generation capacity reached 13.22 billion KWH, up 16.9% year-on-year. Total electricity sales in November reached 12.43 billion KWH, up 17.3% year-on-year.
From January to November 2021, Shenhua's coal production totaled 278 million tons, up 4.4% year-on-year. Coal sales totaled 430.7 million tons, up 7.8% year-on-year. From January to November 2021, the shipment volume at Shenhua Huanghua port in China was 194.8 million tons, up 4.1% year-on-year; Shipments at Shenhua Tianjin Port were 41.9 million tons, up 1.2% year-on-year. Shipping freight volume was 110.1 million tons, up 6.1% year-on-year. From January to November 2021, the accumulative total generating capacity was 148.21 billion KWH, up 21.3%.Total electricity sales from January to November 2021 totaled 138.95 billion KWH, up 21.5%.
