Thermal coal prices in China edged down significantly in late-May: NBS

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics，coal prices in China were mixed in late-May. Detailed prices changes are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed middle-sized, Vdaf≤8%) was 1350 Yuan/mt, up 175 Yuan/ton or 14.9% compared with last issue.
The price of common mixed coal (mixed by Shanxi pulverized coal and Shanxi lump coal, CV4500) was 680.7 Yuan/mt, down 52.4 Yuan/ton or 7.1% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi general mixed coal (CV5000) was 770.7 Yuan/mt, down 51.2 Yuan/ton or 6.2% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi premium mixed coal (CV5500) was 860.7 Yuan/ mt, down 52.4 Yuan/ton or 5.7% compared with last issue.
The price of Datong mixed coal (CV5800) was 885.7 Yuan/mt, down 52.4 Yuan/ton or 5.6% compared with last issue.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, S<1%) was 1950 Yuan/mt, up 175 Yuan/ton or 9.9% compared with last issue.
The above data shows that in late-May, the prices of coking coal and anthracite continued to edge up, thermal coal prices edged down.
