Thermal coal prices in China edged up significantly in late-March: NBS

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on April 6th，Coal prices in China were mixed in late-March. Detailed prices changes are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed middle-sized, Vdaf≤8%) was 950 Yuan/mt, the same with last issue.
The price of common mixed coal (mixed by Shanxi pulverized coal and Shanxi lump coal, CV4500) was 525.6 Yuan/mt, up 40.2 Yuan/ton or 8.3% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi general mixed coal (CV5000) was 605 Yuan/mt, up 50 Yuan/ton or 9.0% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi premium mixed coal (CV5500) was 688.1 Yuan/ mt, up 53.1 Yuan/ton or 8.4% compared with last issue.
The price of Datong mixed coal (CV5800) was 713.1 Yuan/mt, up 53.1 Yuan/ton or 8.0% compared with last issue.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, S<1%) was 1440 Yuan/mt, down 42.9 Yuan/ton or 2.9% compared with last issue.
The above data shows that in late-March, the prices of coking coal continued to edge down, anthracite prices were falt, and the thermal coal prices continued to edge up significantly.
