Thermal coal prices in China edged up significantly in mid-March: NBS

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on March 24th，Coal prices in China were mixed in mid-March. Detailed prices changes are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed middle-sized, Vdaf≤8%) was 950 Yuan/mt, the same with last issue.
The price of common mixed coal (mixed by Shanxi pulverized coal and Shanxi lump coal, CV4500) was 485.4 Yuan/mt, up 18.8 Yuan/ton or 4.0% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi general mixed coal (CV5000) was 555 Yuan/mt, up 24.7 Yuan/ton or 4.7% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi premium mixed coal (CV5500) was 635 Yuan/ mt, up 31.6 Yuan/ton or 5.2% compared with last issue.
The price of Datong mixed coal (CV5800) was 660 Yuan/mt, up 26.6 Yuan/ton or 4.2% compared with last issue.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, S<1%) was 1482.9 Yuan/mt, down 57.1 Yuan/ton or 3.7% compared with last issue.
The above data shows that in mid-March, the prices of coking coal began to edge down, anthracite prices were falt, and the thermal coal prices continued to edge up.
