China's coal mining and washing capacity utilization rate was 72.6% in the fourth quarter, up 1.1 percentage points from the same period last year and 1.4 percentage points from the first three quarters, according to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics.
In the fourth quarter, China's industrial capacity utilization rate was 78.0 percent, up 0.5 percentage points from the same period last year and 1.3 percentage points from the third quarter. Among them, mining capacity utilization rate was 75.0%, 0.1 percentage point lower than the same period last year.
In 2020, China's industrial capacity utilization rate was 74.5 percent, down 2.1 percentage points from the previous year. Mining capacity utilization rate was 72.2 percent, down 2.2 percentage points from the same period last year.
The utilization rate of coal mining and washing industry was 69.8 percent, 0.8 percentage points lower than the same period last year.
