China's raw coal output rose 3.2 percent year on year to 351.89 million tons in December 2020, according to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on Jan 18.
In month-on-month terms, the figure was 4.62 million tons or 1.33% more than 347.27 million tons in November.
In December, the average daily output was 11.35 million tons, down 230,000 tons from November.
From January to December of 2020, China's total raw coal output reached 3843.74 million tons, up 0.9 percent year on year and 0.5 percentage points higher than that of the previous 11 months.
As can be seen from the above data, in the face of the requirements of the increase in production and guarantee supply, the national raw coal production still did not appear a relatively significant increase. Average daily production was lower than in November, and the slight gain for the whole month is still likely to be more days than November.
