The latest data released by the General Administration of Customs shows that In September 2020, China's imports of coking coal dropped by 15.7% year on year to 6.72 million tons and by 6.28% to 450,000 tons month-on-month. From January to September 2020, imports of coking coal totaled 59.38 million tons, down 2.6% year-on-year. China imported 370,000 tons of anthracite coal in September, down by 7.7% year-on-year, and 170,000 tons month-on-month, down by 31.48%. From January to September 2020, imports of anthracite coal totaled 5.15 million tons, down 18.4% year-on-year.
