China imported 18.676 million tons of coal in September 2020, down 38.34% Y-o-Y

Data released by the General Administration of Customs on Oct. 13 showed that China imported 18.676 million tons of coal in September 2020, down 11.612 million tons or 38.34 percent from 30.288 million tons a year earlier. And that was down 1.987,000 tons, or 9.62%, from 20.6663 million tons in August.
From January to September 2020, China imported 23,9429,000 tons of coal, down 4.4 percent year-on-year. The accumulative import amount was US $1,6689.7 million, down 15.8% year on year.
