According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on August 4th，China's coal prices were flat and edged down slightly in late-July. Detailed prices changes are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed middle-sized, Vdaf≤8%) was 840 Yuan/mt, the same with last issue.
The price of common mixed coal (mixed by Shanxi pulverized coal and Shanxi lump coal, CV4500) was 440.6 Yuan/mt, down 4.4 Yuan/ton or 1.0% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi general mixed coal (CV5000) was 495 Yuan/mt, the same with last issue.
The price of Shanxi premium mixed coal (CV5500) was 543.3 Yuan/ mt, down 1.7 Yuan/ton or 0.3% compared with last issue.
The price of Datong mixed coal (CV5800) was 573.3 Yuan/mt, down 1.7 Yuan/ton or 0.3% compared with last issue.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, S<1%) was 1270 Yuan/mt, the same with last issue.
The above data shows that in late-July, thermal coal prices were flat and edged down slightly; anthracite prices began to remain flat; and coking coal prices were falt continuously.
