China's imports of coal rose 12.7% year-on-year to 174 million tons in H1 2020

According to the data released by the General Administration of Customs on July 14, China imported 25.286 million tons of coal in June 2020, a year-on-year decrease of 1.812 million tons or 6.69%; and a month-on-month increase of 3.2229 million tons, or 14.64%, from 2.2057 million tons in May.

From January to June 2020, China imported 173.991 million tons of coal, up 12.7 percent year-on-year.
