According to the Statistics Bureau of Shanxi Province, in May 2020, the raw coal output of Shanxi Province above the scale was 85,334,000 tons, down 0.6% year-on-year, and with month-on-month decrease of 620,000 tons, a decrease of 0.72%.
From January to May in 2020, the cumulative raw coal output of Shanxi Province above the scale reached 394.788 million tons, up by 1.6% year on year and 0.6 percentage points less than that of the previous April.
In addition, in May 2020, Shanxi produced 9.103 million tons of coke, an increase of 6.2% year on year; Month-on-month growth was 237,000 tons, or 2.67%.
From January to May in 2020, the cumulative coke output above the scale reached 40,989,000 tons, with a year-on-year growth of 1.3%.
