China Coal Energy Corporation’s commercial coal production rose 3.8% in May

On June 15, China Coal Energy Corporation disclosed the main production and operation data of May 2020. In May 2020, the company's commercial coal output was 9.28 million tons, up 3.8% year on year. Commercial coal sales were 22.26 million tons, up 27.1 percent year on year.
Among them, the sales volume of self-produced commercial coal was 10.91 million tons, up 23.4% year on year.
From January to May 2020, the company's commercial coal output was 43.92 million tons, an increase of 5.2% year on year. Commercial coal sales rose 10.2% to 92.46 million tons.
Among them, sales of self-produced commercial coal were 44.15 million tons, up 8.5 percent year on year.
