China imported 2.02 million tons of coal and lignite in May, down 19.7% Y-on-Y

Data from the General Administration of Customs on June 7, 2020 showed that in May, China imported 2.02 million tons of coal and lignite, down 19.7% year on year and 28.73% month on month.

From January to May of 2020, China imported 148.711 million tons of coal and lignite, up 16.8% year-on-year.
