China's coal prices continue to edge down significantly in mid-April: NBS

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on April 24th，China's coal prices were generally on a downward trend continuously in mid-April. Detailed prices changes are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed middle-sized, Vdaf≤8%) was 940 Yuan/mt, down 60.2 Yuan/ton or 6.0% compared with last issue.
The price of common mixed coal (mixed by Shanxi pulverized coal and Shanxi lump coal, CV4500) was 421.7 Yuan/mt, down 9 Yuan/ton or 2.1% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi general mixed coal (CV5000) was 466.7 Yuan/mt, down 11.9 Yuan/ton or 2.5% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi premium mixed coal (CV5500) was 531.7 Yuan/ mt, down 9 Yuan/ton or 1.7% compared with last issue.
The price of Datong mixed coal (CV5800) was 561.7 Yuan/mt, down 9 Yuan/ton or 1.6% compared with last issue.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, S<1%) was 1360 Yuan/mt, down 28.6 Yuan/ton or 2.1% compared with last issue.
The above data shows that in mid-April, the reduction gap of anthracite and coking coal prices was enlarging, and the reduction gap of thermal coal prices was narrowing.
