The latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on April 17 shows that the utilization rate of coal mining and cleaning industries nationwide was 65.0% in the first quarter, down 3.2 percentage points from a year earlier.
The utilization rate of oil and gas production capacity was 89.9 percent, down 1.4 percentage points from the same period last year. The utilization rate of ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industries was 72.4%, down 6.8 percentage points from the same period last year. Capacity utilization rate of nonferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry was 72.0%, down 6.8 percentage points from the same period last year.
In the first quarter, China's industrial capacity utilization rate was 67.3%, down 8.6 percentage points from a year earlier.
In the first quarter, the utilization rate of mining capacity was 67.1%, down 6.0 percentage points from the same period last year. The utilization rate of manufacturing capacity was 67.2%, down 9.1 percentage points. The utilization rate of power, heat, gas and water production and supply industries was 67.8%, down 3.8 percentage points.
