From 2016 to 2019, Datong City of Shanxi Province has closed 14 coal mines and cut production capacity by 12.15 million tons. In 2020, Datong City will continue to promote the coal industry to reduce capacity on this basis.
Datong has listed five coal mines to be shut down by 2020, with a total capacity reduction of 3.7 million tons. At the same time, Datong will accelerate the implementation of coal reduction and restructuring work, participating in the reduction and restructuring of a total of 21 coal mines, it is estimated that through the reduction and restructuring of coal mines, the proposed reduction of production capacity of 4.35 million tons, the city's coal mine types are all up to 600,000 tons per year.
