China's coal prices edged down significantly in early-April: NBS

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on April 14th，China's coal prices were generally on a downward trend in early-April. Detailed prices changes are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed middle-sized, Vdaf≤8%) was 1000 Yuan/mt, down 10 Yuan/ton or 1.0% compared with last issue.
The price of common mixed coal (mixed by Shanxi pulverized coal and Shanxi lump coal, CV4500) was 430.7 Yuan/mt, down 10.7 Yuan/ton or 2.4% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi general mixed coal (CV5000) was 478.6 Yuan/mt, down 12.8 Yuan/ton or 2.6% compared with last issue.
The price of Shanxi premium mixed coal (CV5500) was 540.7 Yuan/ mt, down 10.7 Yuan/ton or 1.9% compared with last issue.
The price of Datong mixed coal (CV5800) was 570.7 Yuan/mt, down 10.7 Yuan/ton or 1.8% compared with last issue.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, S<1%) was 1388.6 Yuan/mt, down 20.0 Yuan/ton or 1.4% compared with last issue.
The above data shows that in early-April, China’s anthracite prices began to decrease, the reduction gap of coking coal prices was narrowing, and the reduction gap of thermal coal prices was enlarging.
