Affected by the epidemic, the load of electricity in northwest China failed to recover as scheduled after the end of the Spring Festival holiday. In February, the maximum load of the whole network decreased by more than 13 million kw to 72.75 million kw, which was only 84% of the normal load level. Among them, the secondary and tertiary industries, namely general industry and commerce, and the service sector, suffered a significant reduction in electricity load due to the epidemic, with a maximum of 11 million kw, accounting for 16% of the total secondary and tertiary industry load. Since February 13, as the anti-epidemic situation in China continues to improve, the work of returning to work and production in northwest China has been carried out in an orderly manner, and the electricity load has been gradually restored. By the end of March, electricity load in northwest China had returned to normal levels.
