As of December 31, 2019, there were 41 coal mines producing in Anhui Province with a total capacity of 126.96 million tons per year, according to an announcement on coal production capacity of Anhui Province released by the State Administration of Work Safety.
According to the announcement, coal mines with the production capacity of 1.2 million tons or more are almost large mines, coal mines with the capacity of 600,000 tons of coal per year or less are only three, coal mines with the capacity of 1.2 million tons of coal per year or less are only six.
