The added value of coal industry in Shanxi decreased by 11.6% from Jan to Feb

Data released by the Statistics Bureau of Shanxi Province shows that the ex-factory price of products in major industries in the province continued to drop in February. Among them, the price of coal products decreased by 5.5% year on year, driving the year-on-year index of the whole province down by 1.8 percentage points. In addition, from January to February, the value added of the coal industry in the province decreased by 11.6% year on year, the coking industry decreased by 9%, and the steel industry decreased by 0.7%. In the first two months of this year, the value added of mining industry decreased by 11.7%.
