NDRC: the rate of resumption of work in most provinces has exceeded 90%

According to the conference, in accordance with the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), together with relevant departments, has improved policies and measures to promote the accurate and orderly resumption of work and production in various local industries.
With the exception of some provinces such as Hubei, the rate of restarting work in other provinces (regions and cities) has exceeded 90%, among which Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Shandong, Guangxi and Chongqing are close to 100%.
According to the electricity consumption situation monitored by power grid enterprises, the electricity consumption of non-ferrous metal industry has reached the normal level of last year. The electricity consumption of pharmaceutical, chemical and electronic industries has returned to more than 90% of the normal level, and that of steel, machinery and textile industries has returned to more than 80% of the normal level. Railway loadings have returned to normal levels, and civil aviation, ports and water transport are operating normally.
From the point of view of power generation, in the first two months of this year, the country's industrial power output above the scale fell 8.2 percent year-on-year. In terms of electricity consumption, in the first two months of this year, the country's electricity consumption fell by 7.8 percent year-on-year. Since March, electricity consumption has picked up significantly. It is reported that on March 16, power generation on schedule reached 17.8 billion KWH, up 9.9% from 16.2 billion KWH at the end of February.
In the first two months of this year, the NDRC approved 19 fixed asset investment projects with a total investment of 185.3 billion Yuan, mainly in the transportation, high-tech and other industries.
