Affected by snowfall, the Spring Festival holiday and the epidemic, the city sold 47.91 million tons of coal in January, a year-on-year decrease of 13.1 million tons, or 21.5 percent. Local coal mines sold 36.06 million tons of coal, a year-on-year decrease of 13.82 million tons, or 27.7 percent. The State Energy Group sold 11.85 million tons of coal, up 720,000 tons or 6.5% from a year earlier.
In January, the city's comprehensive average price was 283 Yuan/ton, a year-on-year decline of 9 Yuan/ton, or 3.1%. The average price of raw coal is 270 Yuan/ton, down 10 Yuan/ton or 3.6% year on year. The average price of lump coal is 340 Yuan/ton, which is flat year on year. The average price of mixed coal was 257 Yuan/ton, down 13 Yuan/ton, or 4.8%, year on year.
