Data released by the General Administration of Customs on December 8 showed that China imported 20.781 million tons of coal in November, an increase of 1.628 million tons or 8.50% year-on-year. The month-on-month decrease was 4.904 million tons, or 19.09%.
From January to November of 2019, China imported 299.296 million tons of coal, up 10.2% year-on-year.
China exported 792,000 tons of coal in November, up 103,000 tons or 14.95% from a year earlier. Month-on-month growth was 452,000 tons, up 132.94%.
From January to November of 2019, 5.35 million tons of coal was exported, up 15.7% year-on-year.
