One miner was killed with three others injured in a coal mine explosion in Myanmar's Sagaing region, according the Myanmar Police Force on Thursday.
The explosion took place in Kale town late Wednesday.
The methane explosion occurred at a coal mine site, operated by Htoo Han Thit Company, in Paluzawa village at 11:30 p.m. local time.
Three miners were seriously injured by the fatal blast and were brought to nearby Kale General Hospital for treatment, Than Zaw Htike, a township police official, told Xinhua.
